My passion is visual storytelling. I am freelance photographer and a high school photography/film/journalism teacher.  All sorts of photography interests me, but what excites me the most is documenting people.

My style is journalistic, natural, and fun. I want to show you in your element naturally enjoying your relationships and life. I photograph using natural light on location. I have a creative eye with attention to detail.

I formally trained in photography in college. Along with photography I received specialized training in psychology, English, and film, and intensive training at Salt Institute for documentary photography, in Portland, Maine.

I love travelling and meeting new people. I was born in Sydney, Australia; my family immigrated to the U.S. when I was a child and I have since lived in six states as well as abroad in France, Australia, Thailand, and have visited numerous other countries.  I learned at a young age that people are fascinating and this fascination and respect for the human voyage keeps me photographing, writing, and creating.
